Description of warranty procedure
During Warranty Period

Instrument Training:We offer and conduct training for new customers who are unfamiliar with the operation of our instruments. |
B. |
Instrument Setup:We will assist you in setting up your new instrument. |
C. |
Technical Support:We provide consultative services including setup of instruments, applications advise, calibration procedures and more. |
D. |
Instrument Repair:We have a full service center capable of repairing your faulty instrument. |
E. |
Instrument Return Policy:When it is necessary to return an instrument for service, customers are required to repackage it properly and indicate the nature of problem. EXTECH recommends using the instrument’s original package. |
If an instrument fails during the warranty period, EXTECH is committed to respond within one working day of the receipt of a customer's claim. A professional service engineer will then be assigned to resolve each service case.
‧EXTECH provides a two-year warranty for each new instrument from the date of shipment.
‧Customers may also purchase an optional three-year warranty.

Any unauthorized modifications, tampering or repairs. |
B. |
Abnormal operation that does not comply with the range of instrument's specifications or published instructions. |
C. |
Instrument breakdown due to human error or natural disasters such as earthquake, flood, fire or riot. |
D. |
Replacement of genuine parts or accessories not recommended by EXTECH. |
E. |
The instrument is broken for not using any genuine parts or accessories as recommended by Extech. |
Out of Warranty Period

Instrument Repair:We have a full service center capable of repairing your faulty instrument. |

Instrument Return Policy:When it is necessary to return an instrument for service, customers are required to repackage it properly and indicate the nature of problem. EXTECH recommends using the instrument’s original package. |

Warranty Repair:EXTECH will fix an instrument free of charge if it breakdown within 3 months of repair at our factory. |
Customer support department of Extech will respond to customers within one working day after receipt of instrument's breakdown claim by customers while a professional service engineer will be assigned in resolving this service case.
EXTECH may charge for repair service according to the actual condition of the instrument.
